Our Vision

What We Believe
-
There is only one living God: The G0d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The only Creator of heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, and Isaiah 42:2)

-
Jesus (Yeshua-Hebrew): Is the promised Messiah, and the Redeemer of the entire human race. By His life, death and resurrection, He fulfilled the Old Testament scriptures of the coming Messiah in the New Testament. Jesus is the divine fullest revelation of God to man. (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7, 53:1-12,; Psalms 16:9-11, Saint Matthew 1:23, 8:17; I Peter 2:24)

-
The Triune Nature of God: God the Father, God the Son (Yeshua), and God the Holy Spirit. God made man in his own image and likeness and endowed him with a longing for intimate fellowship with the Creator- God. (Genesis 1:26, 2:7; Psalms 41:1-2)

-
Man’s Disobedience: When man’s sins were revealed it caused and will cause a separation between man and God. (Genesis 2:16-17; Isaiah 59:1-2)

-
The Only Provision: God made provision for man to be reconciled to Himself through the atoning work of Jesus the Messiah, who died as the sacrifice for our disobedience and rose again, manifesting His victory over sin and death. (Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 53:1-12; II Corinthians 5:19)

-
The Bible: Both the Old (Tanakh) and New Testament (B’rit Hadashah) is the inspired word of God to man and the only reliable safe guide to faith and conduct. (Numbers 12: 6-8; Isaiah 8:20; II Timothy 3:16-17)

-
Water Baptism: The Water baptism is an essential part of the believer’s salvation and not merely a symbolic ritual. It is part of entering into the Kingdom of God (God's church, the bride of Christ), and therefore, it is not merely a part of local church membership. (See John 3:5; Galatians 3:27).

-
Baptism of the Holy Spirit: The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the birth of the Spirit (John 3:5). This spiritual baptism is necessary to put someone into the Kingdom of God (God's church, the bride of Christ) and is evidenced by speaking in other tongues (other languages) as the Spirit of God gives utterance. It was prophesied by Joel (Joel 2:28-29) and Isaiah (Isaiah 28:11), foretold by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:11), purchased by the blood of Jesus, and promised by Him to His disciples (John 14:26; 15:16). The Holy Ghost was first poured out on the Day of Pentecost upon the Jews (Acts 2:1-4), then upon the Samaritans (Acts 8:17), and later upon the Gentiles (Acts 10:44-46; 19:6). "The promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:39).
Why We Study Hebraically
Today, scholars agree, on the most basic level, that Jesus (Yeshua) was a Jew who was born, lived, and died within first century Judaism. His teachings methods, parables, proverbs, and symbolic style were characteristic of the Judaism of that day. Since both the Older and Newer Testaments are highly Hebraic, with the background, writers, culture, religion, traditions, and concepts being Hebrew, any analysis of Scripture should be done from this perspective. **

As a 21st century community of believers continuing the work the first-century believers embraced, we understand the faith practices of the first century were thoroughly Hebraic. The authors of Scripture expressed the inspired word of G-d from the Hebraic (eastern) mindset. Because the Bible traditionally had been interpreted from the western mindset, we now journey to regain the essence of our Hebraic roots. Studying and interpreting the Bible within the Hebrew context enables us, as the recipients of G-d’s inspired word, to arrive at the proper understanding of Scripture.

The Biblical Feast Days
As a community of Judeo-Christian believers, we strive to observe the Sabbath and honor the appointed seasons of the Lord as commanded in Leviticus 23. Passover (Pesach); First Fruits (Resurrection); Pentecost (Shavu'ot); Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teru'ah); Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur); Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). We understand that observing and keeping these high holy days is essential to our understanding of God's intention for us and deepens our relationship with Him.
